First, the tool asked me about my business type and then asked me to choose a name. I wrote the same title as earlier: Travel Inn. 

But then I saw the option where Durable gives you suggestions for a brand name. So, I checked it out and selected the first name from Durable’s suggestions. 

After selecting the name ‘’Wanderlust Adventures,’’ I prompted the tool to create a website. I could see the steps happening in real time.

Here’s what the website looked like. I won’t say I’m disappointed, but the first image on the home page doesn’t reflect the website’s purpose. It can be changed easily, though, as well as the website copy to fit your brand.

But I liked the customization options. For instance, I could add a footer section based on my preferences. Other customizations included FAQs, Calls to Action, Notes, etc. 

I changed the Hero image to make the site feel more true to its purpose. Here’s how it looked. 

The sections at the bottom were better. Mixo wrote a decent copy and chose relevant images for the body of the home page.

After going through the onboarding steps, like choosing your domain name (or entering an existing one) and selecting a plan, you have to describe your website. 

I provided the details, and Hostinger produced a website for me.

For instance, I could change the background color using this color wheel. 

I also decided to give the AI Logo Maker a shot. You can find it in the menu on the left side of the page.

But what sets Framer apart is its ability to create genuinely interactive sites. Suppose you need help figuring out where to start. In that case, Framer has an Academy where you can learn everything you need about using the AI website builder.

Here’s the prompt I gave Framer to create the website above: “a travel website that shows students hostels they can book for backpacking trips. Sort of like Airbnb, but for hostels”.

It created a website layout quickly, but customization was a hassle. I found it difficult to move the pages around or even see them in full view. The zoom-in and zoom-out features didn’t let me choose a value. Instead, they just zoomed based on default figures, which were too much or too little.

The Call to Action section was simple but practical. 

The customization options were decent, but nothing out of the box. There was also an option to add a CRM. You could either add a blog or import a CSV file.

I also checked out the template section and found some gems. 

Of all the websites I’ve generated so far, this one has the best transitioning to subsequent sections. For example, after the Hero section, this is what I saw: brands showcasing and value proposition.

Again, the next section was the most relevant. Here, you can see the features of the service our website provides. 

Testimonials and reviews followed the section above. 

Customizing everything was also simple. All I had to do was click on a section, and it showed me the relevant customization options. 

Plus, there was an option to edit each section on the right-hand pane. I could click on every section and see multiple options I could choose.
